Implementation of an interactive software for visualization of
diagnosability properties
Introduction
Systems for monitoring and diagnosing complex technical systems are today common in all types of vehicles. The purpose of introducing diagnostic capabilities can be to improve safety, availability, repairability, or for environment protection. Diagnostic systems are intrinsic complex, because to pin-point faults accurately, detailed system knowledge of many different parts of the monitored systems need to be considered. To evaluate the potential benefits of introducing diagnosis a so called diagnosability analysis can be performed. This project aims at making diagnosability results more comprehendible by
implementing an interactive software for visualizing diagnosability properties.
Project goals
The goal of the project is to implement a software platform supporting interactive visualization of diagnosability properties. The main focus is to develop a user-friendly interface and a visualization of diagnosability. There should be a clear interface between the interactive software and underlaying algorithms for computing diagnosability.
Qualifications
We believe that you are an experienced programmer and system developer. A background in diagnosis or visualization is considered beneficial but is not required.
