Organization

• Lecturer : Christiane Schmidt
• The course will consist of two parts, where part 1 can be taken without part 2. Part 1 and part 2 will yield 1 and 2 credits, respectively (if later evaluation shows that students spent way more time, the credits will be adapted accordingly).
  • Part 1 will consist of 2x4 hour lectures in March (time tbd with course participants), some non-mandatory homework with a discussion seminar, and a final test.
  • In part 2, you will work with a paper of your own, and polish your writing according to what you learned in part 1. You can determine yourself when you cover this part, e.g., according to your own paper deadlines. Please discuss your planned schedule with me in advance.

• The course is based on a undergrad course on the same topic that I have taught before.

• The first seminar will take place Friday, March 20, 13:00-17:00 in SP6225.
• The second seminar will take place Monday, March 23, 10:15-12:00 and 13:00-15:00 in SP6225.
• A homework discussion will take place Thursday, March 26, 10:15 in SP6225.
• The examination of part 1 will take place Thursday, April 2, 15:00-17:30 in SP7226.
• The re-examination of part 1 will take place Friday, May 29, 10:00-12:30, on zoom.
