PhD student position

I am looking for motivated students with strong mathematical background interested in pursuing PhD degree in wireless communication networks with focus on semantic communications. For more details on semantic communications check our overview paper “Semantic Communications in Networked Systems: A Data Significance Perspective”.

The position is fully funded by the Swedish Research Council and placed at the Department of Science and Technology (ITN) of Linköping University. For more information about the position and the application procedure please check the official add available here.

The applicant must hold a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics and have a strong mathematical background, particularly in probabilities and stochastic processes, linear algebra, mathematical optimization. Applicant must also have programming skills as well as very good English, orally and in writing.
